Ballroom Instructor - Brian
Brian Oakes was introduced at the Friday night dance on August 10, 2018 by Barry as the newest instructor joining Melbourne Ballroom. The ladies including me were thrilled that we now have another instructor to dance with.

Tango - September 21, 2018
I was delighted to dance Tango again with Brian because it gave me the chance to improve my skills. Both he and Wade have great Tango moves !!
Waltz - August 24, 2018
This was my first waltz with Brian. Wished I had danced the dips with more grace but wearing a wrist brace didn't help. Had the chance to try out the "waterfall" twinkles which I had never tried before.
Tango - August 24, 2018
The floor was less crowded than the first time I danced with Brian. I danced a step ( flares from corte ) I had never seen before by following his verbal instructions. It felt great trying a new step though I wish I had danced better.
Tango - August 10, 2018
I was thrilled when I caught his eye and had the opportunity to dance Tango with him fairly early in the evening. We danced a few cortes and fans even though the floor was very crowded.
