Argentine Tango - April 21, 2019

It was one of the best Argentine Tango I have ever danced even though I still had lots of room for improvement.  I had danced the routine the week before with Tung and it showed !!!

I was a little apprehensive as it had been quite a while since I danced Argentine Tango with Tung Duong !  I was elated when I managed to dance it 

without too many mistakes ... 

Tung Duong dances Argentine Tango in open embrace rather than close embrace which was the version taught by Ramiz Kadjar and Natalya Ogirya from Orlando.  Tung is easily the best social Argentine Tango dancer I know so I decided to try and learn his version as best I could just by the few occasions 

that I have the opportunity to dance with him.

Below are 3 videos documenting my attempts to dance the molinete, ochos and paradas in open embrace with Tung.  I have a long way to go before I

can do it properly and hope that I get the chance to do so as Tung is also from Orlando !

It has been 3 months since I had the opportunity to dance the molinete, ochos and paradas with Tung and unfortunately it showed as I didn't dance as

well as I should have.  I hope I get the chance to dance the routine again in the not too distant future.

This was my initial attempt to dance the molinete which is actually harder to do than it looks.  Hope I get the chance to try it again soon.
